X Games Skate BigAir crash

You guys see this? I try to follow the XGames every year but I missed a lot of it this time around. Jake Brown fell out from the vert wall during his Big Air run, fell something like 40-50 feet to flat and walks away.

Best video I found, Xgames footage doesn't really give good perspective.

Hoffman? Old school bicycle guy(is that the right name?) got big air and crashed flat on the upper deck....those sudden stops are rough on old guys!

These games are getting ridonkulous anymore. I can't imagine how many "kids" try to mimic these stunts after the games.

He did walk off, but he was injured pretty badly. He was on Good Morning America this morning. He hurt his wrist and probably have surgery on it, a bruised liver, internal bleeding, and a hairline fracture on a vertebra. He said he was unconscious and said he quit breathing for about 30 seconds to a minute. He said he had some knots on his chest from where the paramedics were slamming him to revive him. All in all he was lucky.

I think I am gonna buy me a dirtbike and teach myself how to do a Double Back flip. :spin:

Yup. If I remember correctly Pastrana(sp?) landed one last year. Some new dude attempted it this year but cased it.

i have it on the dvr...it is insane...also the cat on the dirtbike attempting a double back flip....only the 2nd time ever attempted....and this was his first x games...needless to say he ate a ton of dirt....

i gotta give it up to all the ramp guys...they have huge balls to do that ****.....
