Im with you Wyatt, I read a book when I was very very little in Ks from the SpringHill Middle School library that was about a young guy and his dad building a bug to compete in Baja with ( this book took place in the 70's as i recall... ) and ever since I have always held a huge facination with the race, the people, the places and all that. It's like a huge un-known "thing" if you havent been there done it or whatever you just dont know, you cant know they cant even (media mind you ) fully disclose or capture the whole thing.
Its an amazing testament to man machine and enviroment without a date. The only thing bigger and more parralel is Dakar and other international events that are so exotic its insane.
Good luck to all those E buddies in the race , and all the teams involved ! Baja is kickass !!!

Im just stoked about wheeling and everything going on , been reading alot of stuff talking to alot of people it just gets me fueled up and focused again is all.

Funny you say that. We have a fence about 100 yards away from the back of our shop and our shop is on the backside of the plant. I can't tell you how many times I have thought about doing that. If they didn't have Cameras placed all outside it would be on.

Camo's fat ass is sitting at home. That is Lance's truck. They pre-ran over 100 miles in it yesterday for the Jeepspeed stuff. I bet Rusty and Josh are so stoked.
BTW, the Toureg is probably one of the coolest rigs ever. Of course, there is nothing stock about that buggy, but if it holds together it will win. The VW team is awesome.

Can't wait to hear the stories from JT.. Last thanksgiving he called me when he got home and had some crazy stories.... of course not exactly related to the race! haha... 2 years ago their semi was broke into and there was a crazy fight/chase that happened and those white boys got in the paper down there

Bein a motorcycle guy myself i have a huge amount of respect for the guys that do it on the bikes....
any of you ever rode a bike in deep sand... its hard as hell..
try doing it at 100mph plus for hours on end, dodging gullies, and sage bushes....
true test of man/machine and a mental endurance nightmare...
