Who is in charge of the gate/park for friday and saturday? Carl will be there friday and needs to know where and what time to be there to get set up for recovery. I know there is no wheeling so does he need a pass of some sort to get to unload and drive his rig in the area?

Also, I will be there as fast as I can get there Sat morning, its 420 miles so if I leave at 3 I can get there by 8-8:30.

What time is the drivers meeting?

Matt, what kind of internet connection do you have in the new house? I have to upload my booty to Pirate Sat night and need a fast connection. What is your new address and will the street be on a 3 yr old GPS?

What is the wheeling story for Sunday besides expo racing?

If your GPS does not have it, you can at least get the coordinates and it will get you damn close. See ya Saturday

I have the latest Garmin software on my laptop and can get you matt O's coord's tonight if I have an addy. thumb.gif

I doubt Carl will have any issues coming in Friday, as long as they know he's for recovery on Saturday. Recovery rigs won't be set up until Saturday morning at 8am though.

Driver's meeting is 9am on both days.

if my buggy was as nice as karls, i would have it under the maxxis booth, not for recovery....lol...i'd be afraid to get some of that alabama tree sap on it.....

Screw that where taking that thing over to Flat Tire Flume and Cable Hill!!

Nolen,

We have to be there for Recovery at 8am, check the other thread you started a while back, I updated it this morning. If he wants a covered place to park his rig, then tell him to bring it to my house and it will go in the basement with mine. If he is not camping at the park Friday night there is really no need to bring it to the park until Saturday AM. If he wants to call me and figure out a plan of attack give him my number. If he does not run on the Exhibition Sunday he can always help again with recovery, they need help both days.

I have a fast DSL connection at the new house, it has the highest upload and download speeds available from ATT. You can plug and play or do wireless, we can check both out for speed. Nolen/Bones, the address is 4545 Crown Point Lane, Mt Olive, AL 35117. If that does not register try the intersection of Fieldstown and NewFound Rd, it is about 100ft past this intersection on the right. House is like 7 miles from Gray Rock on backroads, 3 miles off Exit 271 on 65 North

I have to upload them using some kind of geek code too. No drag-and-drop like Smugmug. I will forward you and MAtt the email from Lance and you can tell me if you know how to do it.

I would think it should be an easy photoalbum program that you just upload via FTP?

Based on their other updates they are using some basic HTML or a tool to do similar instead of writing it manually. Me and my buddy will help you with it. He is a Software Engineer, so we will have it on lockdown. :eat:
