XRRA Volunteers

Please remember that what is posted here, stays here. That said I am not talking ****, just want to discuss what I have been told. Keith called me this morning and he and Tony are very upset with the "control freak" that is Jonica. She has gone around them and contacted the Weaver's directly about staffing the event. Keith and Tony are going to have a meeting with the Weaver's tonight at Gray Rock about what is really going to go on. I am going to attend and if others want to they should be there also. He said that the CAOS volunteers will just be used to park cars, nothing else. This is Keith and Tony's event, not a CAOS event. This is a great opportunity for our small group to step up and bust our ass for Tony and Keith. Keith wants Paul and myself to pair up and bring a rig for extraction. He still needs to crowd control and fire extinguisher volunteers, and I am sure more recovery rigs would not hurt. If you can volunteer this weekend let me know or call Keith and tell him. We need to step up and show some support.

No drinking during the event, represent ourselves and Grayrock in a good profesional matter. Bust ass and put in work !!

This is a huge step for us involvment wise. Lets do a good job and keep a tight image. 8)


I plan on driving the Turd to the event anyway so My winch is ready ( Ill correct the controller issue LOL )

Dad is already "signed up" with Keith for recovery rig as of yesterday afternoon. We're just waiting on getting the winch back and putting on that knuckle now. But I wouldn't have a problem at all with CAOS doing everything the XRRA staff couldn't, but knowing 90% of the club members I know that wouldn't ever happen. Nobody cares enough but a select few.

The think that pissed Keith and Tony off is that CAOS has tried to turn it into their event, when it is not. Going around the land owner and organizer and contacting the XRRA directly is BS. I hope CAOS is ok with parking cars because that is all they will be doing per Keith. I am going out to the planning meeting tonight based on Keith's suggestion. My rig will be there with a working winch and my new winchline ready to go. Just have to get a brakeline put on and a caliper spring put back on.

TK is going to volunteer and he is going to try and roundup some others also. Hardline is gonna be putting it down.

Great job guys, I know that Keith and the XRRA staff really appreciate us helping out. The drivers saying that we were the best recovery crew ever made it all worth it! I know we all busted our asses to keep the event running smooth!
