I just got a set of 4 11/20 michillin XZL'S for free!

but these are some really heavy basterds. :-\

I searched a round on pirate adn only found one guy who cut them and he only grooved the lugs and a little down the side walls.

My tires are in great shape, 90% tread and no rot at all. I want to cut in between all the lugs and cut in some side bites.

any one done this or have seen some cut up?

any other oppinions about how to cut them?

I run boggers right now and absolutly love the traction so i don't want to loose a lot of traction just to run bigger tires.

thanks

sam

I kno P ran some sort of military tire on the turd at one time...

Said they were heavy as ****, but the main downfall is the stiffness...
I'd imagine if you could cut and sipe them enough to get them to flex they make work for u, especially for performance to cost ratio... :afro: :flipoff1:

that good eh! ::)

I was hoping to get some use outta em being that they were free and all, thought somthing like this would shed some lbs...

or an agricultural cut like this...

If i commit to using these things im gonna be into $2000 to either build my 60's, or a set of 404 mogs that i know of for sale than a nother $1000 to link my front end.
if i build my 60's i have to build some wheels also, where the mogs have wheels with them. :dunno:

.............The rubber compound is too HARD,..........no matter how you "CHOP THEM UP".........

..........and they are to HEAVY for a ROCK RIG.......

I mean...................LOOK AT WHAT THEY WERE DESIGNED TO TOTE AROUND......

i'll just stick with the boggers than.

they have never steered me wrong, and i love the traction.

thanks a lot for the input guys, i know some nieve ppl who may buy these and help fund my buggy adn shop!!!
