Yacolt Burn--Does anyone have any information on it? I searched and mainly found that the DNR/Piston's are trying to get it open this summer? Does that hold any water?

Yacolt is the other area that got money from the State to put together an ORV plan. Reiter, Ahtanum, Yacolt all share about $800k that was given by the legislature to implament trail plans.

I haven't been to the last two meetings (because work and family), but not a whole lot has happened in the last few months because of the weather. Alot of the trail-brushing is finished and pretty much all the approvals are finished, but a bridge needs to go in and that won't happen until it's been dry for a while... and THEN a loop of trails will be cut in. I could see it being done by the end of the summer, but it also wouldn't surprise me if all the waiting on the bridge and other stuff put it out until next summer.

Hell ya! See you guys in 2021.:looser: Really looking forward to the 3.5 hour drive.:rb:

So their working on getting something in "their backyard" and all you can do is make jokes :eeek: Maybe if you stuck with it as long as they have been working on this you would have something in your backyard as well. Easier to give up though :booo:
