You fried your clutch because you put 33" tires on your Jeep? And now you want to put a bigger engine in it to handle the larger tires? I just got done doing a whole drivetrain swap like your talking about. I swapped in a Dodge V-8 w/4speed tranny & a STaK's transfer case. I also swapped in a HP44 front & D60 rear.Before I had 4.88 gears & a 4 cyl engine. You can replace your clutch and do an inertia ring for some low end grunt. Then as others have said regear your axles. And last but not least a 4:1 kit in your t-case.And before you go spending too much money on your axles remember you have a D35 rear so you'll want to fix it's issues first or replace with a Ford 8.8.And for your front axle just upgrade to TJ shafts for the larger u-joints and your golden.
