YJ & TJ owners, need help /w weights

I'm tring to find rigs comparable to what I'm building to get estimate weights for shock valving, etc. so I can get a head start and order parts. My build is on a short time table.

What I need is YJ or TJ owners running the 4.0 motor, D60 (or even D44) axles for similar weights, 37"-ish tires, full cage, soft top, etc. IF IT'S POSSIBLE, I'd like a complete vehicle weight, and then split weight showing front and rear weight bias.

I can get a front rear bias at the scale in Sultan when my rig is done it's newest incarnation.

But with my rig, running 35 inch creepys on DIY locks. 2.5L D30 front 8.8 rear. It rings in at 4220. Full tank of gas, and all my trail tools (prolly aboot 50 lbs or so).
 
My '93 fueled and tooled comes in at 4800 lbs. Has a lot of extra steel and Currie's on both enda. Never was courious enough to bias it out to front and rear.
 
I'll have to wiegh mine but stock its 4300lbs. I'm guessing mine is close too 4800-5000
 
I was surprised at how much the YJ weighs. My flatties come in at 3500 and 3700 lbs. Making the YJ at more than 1000 greater. All rigs have more or less the same tool load and Bc (dog). I was out reading the scale.

Condition:
4.0L Rubicon (D44's, heavy trans, heavy transfer), winch and bumper, rear box with some spares, 3/4 tank gas, no persons in cab, factory hard top and hard doors.

Sounds pretty typical, I think most YJ/TJs come in at a 50-50 wieght bias, as long as the wheelbase is kept close to stock, say less than 100".

I think if you figure 1000-1100lbs per corner you will be fine.

So I figured mine out. I figured mine for my own curiosity, and just to see about what everything weighed. I am sure I am close, maybe further off on some. It was interesting just to figure out, I never really knew how much it weighed.

Using other members weights, If it is about 4100# everything minus body would be about 3260#. That would mean the body weighs about 800#. So that would mean that the Sprung weight would be about 2260#, and the unsprung would be 1900#


Here is how I figured it

Engine - 400 (2.5l 4cyl [I am sure this is a little high])
Trans - 100 (AX-5)
T-case - 100 (NP231)
Drive shafts - 80
Frame - 200
Body - 800
Bumpers - 180 (Aftermarket)
Winch - 120 (12,500#)
Springs - 160
Seats - 120
total of sprung = 2260

Tires - 700 (39.5 boggers)
Wheels - 100 (Steel)
D60 rear - 600
D44 front - 500
Total of Unsprung = 1900

Just about the same, '97 TJ, 1/2 steel doors, no spare tire, no ppl. Approximately 3550 lbs.
I lost "alot" of weight going custom 3-link Fr&Rr, Cutting off rear frame, loosing the tailgate and flat front fenders w/no inners. :cool:

body armour is strong enough to not worry about damage at all. But it addes a lot of weight to the rig.
