What did you use as skins on the single seater ?


Im still goin back and forth on what i wanna use. XRRA Rules read D. Body panels must be installed at the start of the event.


It has specifics on firewalls and floorboards, but not bodywork.. I guess I need to figure out cost differences from thin lexan , alum and steel.... and go with the cheapest cause ill probably ruin few laughing

I'll have to look it up. About 1/16" (.065 or .080) or so. Got it at Oneal Express. Drew everything out on paper and traced it to metal, keeping the poster paper templete when needed. Tommy (Bright Green Jeep) took it to work and sheared it for me so there are no sharp edges. He even cut an 8" hole where the trans fan vents out. I pop rivited expanded metal aluminum over the hole. I have some scrap pieces, want me to take some to work or to GrayRock Saturday so you can play. I also Dzeus fitting mine on. Makes it easier to remove to clean. Like right now, all the panels are off. If you go that route, I bought the die to dimple it for the dzeus to fit flush.
