Yota build help

So my grandpa gave me a call saying if i wanted his old 2wheel drive yota pickup i could have it free if i come get it (shelton from duvall). i also am in the process of applying for loan to get a ford ranger for a DD. Since i am doing this I am chopping down my ford for parts and sticking all its drivetrain in a 2 wheel drive yota SAS obviously. My ? is what springs should i run? what should i do from the cab back? tube? what? I know nothing about how to set a yota i want to mainly run tight technical trails and rocks lots of rocks!!

ANY HELP PLEASE?

i would be a skeptic of the frame of a 2wd toyota. you would have to really build up some parts of it because i dont think they were made to take the same abuse as a 4x4 frame. people have done it before, though. it would be interesting too see all the ford parts on a 2wd toy, though. that's a LOT of work, though.

why not sell your ford get your gramps 2wd yota for a dd and buy a 4x4 yota and go from there. i see for one of your pics in car domain that you know my cousin Taylor.

Taylor who? I went to cedar crest and if they are on my cardomain they are a good friend!!! I just want to do sumthing different I'm actually keeping the ford getting the yota building the jeep to my tow rig and buying a 84 yota!!
