Anybody have any info on these things? I tried PM'ing Bobby to see if he offered any but never got a reply.. It's for my boss' 86 he just picked up. Wants to unlock the rear so he can tow it behind the motorhome. Any companies better then the next?

I have one that was made by kieth at redline and it works good, but I think front range offroad makes the best kit check it out on there sight:awesomework:

Front range, I've been running one for years. DO NOT use the Celica calipers, they're junk. Tell him to get an FJ80 master, remove the proportioning valve, plug the return at the front passenger wheel, put his front calipers on the rear and get some '95 V6 front calipers for the front. He will be very happy.

Be cheaper and easier to get a driveline disconnect.

Internal control. Pull the lever and hook it up to the M/home.

:wtf: Is he doing with my Yoda? OMG he told me his plans and Yoda will never be the same....

Actually, I hope he enjoys it as much as I did, only for longer than I did. You really need to get him on these here boards. After all, he has a nw-Wheelers.com sticker on the brush guard.

I thought Toyota made a factory full floater rear end in some of the one ton 2WD trucks, and I think motor home chassis'. Wonder how hard it would be to put hubs on one of those if you could find one...

They bolt right on, but the axles are wider. Pretty close to FJ80 width I believe. Look for dually wheels. Conversion to 6 lug is simple as swapping out the wheel hubs, bearings are identical to front axle.
