Yota trans swap.

I've come to the conclusion that my G52 is toast, it shakes in 5th gear, makes a rattling noise in 3rd. Being that I have little to no money, I'm going to be stuck finding a used trans and swapping it in. Am I stuck with a G52/54 or will a W56 or later G series trans swap in keeping the same transfer case and clutch?

The 22r clutchs are all the same. And all 4 cyl. cases are the same (different shift rails) except the auto locking hub models. I've got one out of an '85 pickup and I'll have one out of an '89 runner in a week or so.

Good to know, I wish I didn't have to put this clutch back in (low buck centerforce) but I can't afford anything but gas right now. I don't really know how I'm going to come up with a trans right now.

I may not be swapping it, I have to have my dad go for a ride in it because he doesn't understand what it's doing by my description. How much would you be letting it go for? I have basically no money, any I get goes right in the tank. I do have an ATC70 project that I'd let go in trade, worth $150 to me, probably get more if you parted it.
