I bought a Toro about 5 years ago that has mowed my 2 acres my dads 1.5 acres and my Grandmothers 1.5 acre yard at least once a week and the past two years several other yards that I did on the side and had no problems besides normal wear and tear( belts blades and 1 set of deck bearings which was warrantied!)The main thing is buy a good welded steel deck and maintenance it! Mine is a 54" welded deck with 25HP Kohler
