Broke the two spring perch studs on my front dodge 60, they were 5/8ths. Thinking of drilling the web and trying a ubolt or maybe drilling out the studs for 3/4. Anyone tried the ubolt.
The u bolt trick is pretty common. I've seen a few writeups on what to clearance etc on PBB. I thing you need to run button head bolts on the cover nearest the u bolt so it'll clear and do some grinding of the webbing but that's not all that hard.
