Salvage 10

Got up this morning and decided I wanted to narrow my rear winch, cut 3.75" out of the drum, and drive shaft. Went to re thread the aluminum tie bars and couldnt get threads to hold. Made some spacer out of 3/4" dom used 3/8" all thread to hold it together. I'll replace with bolts later. Wont know how much rope it will hold till another day.
Needed a little more room to get my trans cooler mount figured out.
Started on my bed floor rack yesterday which started all the winch narrowing, only holes going in it will be for tie down straps.

Was the Budweiser used in mock up or was ya bragging about high dollar brew? :rolf:

Decided to work on hydroboost today turned spool valve down in the drill press, started working on porting the housing. Plan on cleaning it up some more, but a bad hip and this wet weather got to for the rest of the day.

Still not going but more little stuff out of the way, ditched the tailgate chains and added solid stops for when its down.
Tow points are done and welded. Battery mounts, rear shock mounts are done, bump stops are mostly done going to wait till i can flex the rear with weight on it before i finish lower pad, left ubolts a little long because i think im going to end up adding an add a leaf.
Got some cheap led headlights for Christmas started tinkering with making a way to mount them, this is what I come up with. Wouldve came out cleaner with a plasma table, any more Im better at making saw blades and more grinding for myself.

Thanks, I think the light mounts turned out good, but alot of this truck is a 50 footer to look at.
Got rear gears and detroit installed, and with the traction bar mounts close to the 14 bolt oil fill plug I decided to take some hydraulic plug and cap and make a oil fill hole on the cover. They are jic 16 I drilled a hole through the male plug and welded it to the cover shouldnt leak and i can see the ring gear.
Also got trans cooler mounted it will push air to the rear 4" gate between it and fuel tank.
