OLD TOY E.F.I to NEW TOY E.F.I?????

I have a 1989 Toyota Reg Cab 22re 5 speed truck... The only wiring is from the steering column to the passenger side..

I bought a 85 EFI auto tranny doner truck.. What will work and what will not? Whats the easiest way to do the install?

does your 85 have a tach? Are the intake and related engine parts there?

Im in the same boat but backwards. I need to convert my 85 to EFI but I only have two 91 toyota trucks. The gauges and other things are not going to match up. If you have a tach I would like to trade complete truck harnesses if interested.

I have the harness you need out of a 91.

Sensors on the motor have different plugs and stuff. Your better off grabbing a 89 or newer truck harness. The engine side of it is more or less a standalone harness.

You guys can make each others life real easy... swap sensors, intakes the respective harness and you're golden.

As far as tach or not thats a moot point. move a few wires in a dash plug and voila you have an sr5 harness :;

Yes I have the whole running truck Brad. I have a tach speedo center I want to put in it but it came with a standard one. I was looking to do a trade or buy one and this will work prefect.. :awesomework: I have started pulling it already..
