So a few of you know/have met my roommate Shannon, he just lurks around here so I'm gonna post this up for him. Well he's had a 4runner sitting around for a while that he picked up with a blown motor. Back in like august we tore the front end out and built an SAS kit and got it installed. We also pulled out the 3.0, tranny/t-case. We dropped in a chevy 350, a built up th350 he had, and we're still up in the air on a transfer case for him. We hauled it down to his dads shop last week and we've finally got some work going on it. Sunday we stripped the rear frame and today I got the 63" chevy's mounted up and his 36's mounted on some wheels he had. Coming along, hope to knock most of the project out this week (so I can fix my Jeep in the nice shop :redneck: )

Yup, That's the one :awesomework:

What's up with the bus???

Top Secrut :redneck:

It's Shannon's dads bus. It was getting RV'd out, but it's on the back burner right now. Has a super nice dt466 and allison, He scored it for like $1400

Carb'd. fuel injected, propane?:corn:

Carb for now (because I have one and it needs to get done yesterday, will be getting TBI after a bit.)

i'd like to see the swampers on the bus and maybe the bus flexed out. chew on it for a bit, you'll like it

Not sure I can get 15" wheels to fit on the bus, but I like this idea, a lot...

Made a little progress today. I had to build 2 new spreaders for the frame, one above the axle where the shocks will mount and one at the back of the frame. got the shackle hangers made/welded on, and Pat at Those Guys cut my out some u-bolt plates. Got the rear end all mocked up with the suspension complete, and jacked up the front end with a cherry picker. It still had quite a ways to go but I didn't have much confidence in the cherry picker :haha:

I actually brought my camera and snapped a few better pictures after I cleaned up but of course I forgot it, I'll get some better pictures up soon.

Shackle hangers, I plated them in after they got welded to the frame
