That's one helluva push-up bra!!!:redneck::haha:

yeah but even too big for me :;

i've got a guy that does awesome car audio fab work, he built my box for me. he is down in tacoma if anyone's interested i can pass on his info.

I have built hundreds of speaker boxes. I started out at 16 at a stereo shop. Ive worked at 5 others since then aswell as for my fathers shop.:cool:

I have been out of it so long I have NO digi photos!
:rolleyes:

Heres a recent magazine feature that I did the entire system in and my father upholstered.

Seeing his work first would be good :;

i agree, however i don't have any pics of "his" work. he only built me a box, i saw his work in a photo album at his shop, his cars, and customers cars. I could show you my box, but it's not special, it's a basic box, nothing impressive. Looks like CHOP SHOP has some skillz though:D:awesomework:

chop shops pics looks like it could have been wood but same effect could also be done with fiberglass.

The thoughts are endless for this kind of stuff, just setting it up the way you want is all. I would not spend over 400 for something like what your looking for mrs. crash.

My buddy who made the nice speaker box for the back of a suburban to house 4 12's was only going to charge 350. The shitty thing though is it was a guy my old work used to make parts for, he ended up flaking out & I could not get a hold of him after that for him to come pick it up and pay. I felt bad because my friend had paid for all the materials to build it and put many hours into it and the guy flaked out.

Well it's like anything else, once you know what you want, the key is to be patient. In a hurry, you spend more money then you need to. I would love for it to look totally tricked out. But reality is it's already been stolen once and I don't need it happening again after spending $2000.00 for it to look like some of those pictures.

what did they steal the first time just your stereo system? make sure if ya get one to bolt that SOB down good. Ive got an alarm system on my jeep that has motion detectors, even if the window is down and you stick your arm in the window without touching anything it will still set off the alarm. Works great.

had a nice pioneer deck in my jeep with infinity speakers, always left my top off during the summers no matter where I was and never had any problems. :awesomework:

.

Its mostly all sheelmetal (notice how thin the the trim edge is on the plexi) and wood and plexi custom bent to match. He wanted a hex theme to match the sub so I made everything kinda hex or the same angle. Then I had the amp polished and custom lettered to match his cars name.:cool:

it had a better alarm system on it now and two kill switches. I had the alarm set more sensitive but the train going by at work always set it off. I do have the motion capabilities but it never failed, the train always set it off. \

I like the Tuffy box too. Kinda nice looking and alot cheaper. Small though. I might be having my Dad help build one though but I like seeing options.:awesomework:
