• Help Support Hardline Crawlers :

s&n fab 3 seat bravo revamp

probably just a regular 60 housing that s&n welded 9" housing ends on

Problem with that is virtually no one does, or atleast used to make semi-float, 8-lug shafts.

no it was originally a van housing
c clip is :rb:
he needs to do a semi float conversion on the rear

So 35-spline, SF C-clip Van unit like I thought. Did he narrow one side or does he run it offset? Can't tell from the pictures but it looks centered.

Hes running a c clip rear?

Big Mark runs the same rear end in his rig. Sure its :rb: C-clip, but the shafts are *almost* unbreakable and dirt cheap (as is the whole rear end). If I had one kicking around I'd be seriously considering it. But I don't, and last time I was at the PnP I didn't see a single one.

Cadaliac grills......look at the oil my Cadaliac spills:haha:

:haha::haha::haha:Awesome!:awesomework:

Car looks good Nate.......Hey? Can I leave the ToyBug at your house? Promise, you just have to help me rotate the tires:;......nothing more.:redneck:

Those van c clip rears have un equal length shafts, we cut down the long side to short shaft length, something like 2 1/2", its now a 63" housing. Not bad $75 pull apart housing with shafts, $15 pull apart shaft. $100 63" 35 spline rear 60, not bad

some more progress today after sleeping in until 12

shock mounts all tacked up
new winch mount in
front shock towers reconnected to the frame

Looking good. Save yourself some headache with the rear shock mounts and don't weld the outer mounts until everything else in the back of the chassis is welded.

I welded everything in the lower half the chassis first than changed the rear diagnol down tubes and it pulled those mounts out almost an 1/8" makes it a real pain for the bolts to slide in. I even had a brace tacked in to stop the chassis from flexing and the mounts bolted together with spacers. It just sprung out of alignment when they got pulled out.
