Are you keeping the cage in it or building a new one? I love FJ's:awesomework: Check out the cage in this one---- http://nw-wheelers.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39115&highlight=fj40

I love it, it makes it look pissed off.

that does look pissed off!..........i'm keeping the cage, it's fully tied in to the frame......i need to get some pics and more info on here tonight! sliders, bumpers and cage are all blue torch........don't know who did the suspension.....but it's quality as all hell(way better than i could do)..........the half way done 350 conversion is booty........it's gonna have to go, or get redone. I've got a fine 2f in my red cruiser that's ben built well. thinking of dropping it back into this

It's not very common to get someone elses wheeler, and be happy with the Fab work done to it.:awesomework: If all you have to fix on it, is the motor, then that's not a bad day.

sweet ride, I got a cage for mine from metal tech which allows you to have a back seat if ya got kids. I think they are from oregon

metal tech does have some nice stuff, this one has a metal tech stinger and rad guard on it. thinking about some of tube fenders and doors from them, i honestly don't know if i can build them for what they sell them for. i know of MASSIVE amounts of cruiser parts suppliers........ben a 40 freak since before i could drive! so over 20 years!

Talk to POS97TJ. I'm sure he could do it for ya. :awesomework: Nice and local too. He doesn't charge an arm and leg either.

really?..........may have to do so. i know i plan on talking a little with some folks on some ideas for the motor and tranny set up

this might give you some ideas. I wanted to have stock style front fenders that i could beat the crap out of. slamming into trees and dropping onto rock haven't been a problem, made from 13/4 dom and removable in case the motor has to come out

the suspension fab was done very well.......bump stops and all. here is some of the booty i'll have to redo
so the engine is not sitting level side to side(circle track racer maybe?)
don't know about them engine mounts
it does have twin stick wich helps shift these cases real well
but the tranny, trans case and engine are all cocked to the passenger side about 4" too damn far!........the trans case has not ben braced yet
obviously the full size chev truck rad is a no go
and the after market wire harness has ben butchered into many times
