I was asked to post up some pics of my roll cage so another user could see them. Red cage is YJ. Green one is TJ. I'm too lazy to take the top off, as it's getting cold, and the top is a PITA

Hope this helps.

If it matters, the Green TJ cage is going to get a major rework in the next few weeks. Might even sell it complete and start over. The TJ cage also locates the OEM door surrounds and top sides.

Also, the red cage is tied into the frame at all the OEM locations, plus 6 more locations, once at the A pillar, and once at the C pillar, and thirdly thru the fenderwell behind the seats and into the frame just in front of the rear tire.

The green cage is only tied into the frame at all the OEM locations, plus 4, the A & C pillars (for now)

The picture of the allen head cap screw is because the rearmost cross bar goes over the top of the tool box, which sits behind the rear seat (not shown) and needs to be removeable in order to access the contents of the tool box.

ok... so... if the tools are properly stowed into the tool box, how do you get to the tool to tighten, or losen, the bolt to remove it to gain access to the box???

just saying...

hehe

but, on a different note... nice looking cage there...

:cool:That one T-handle wrench is also the latch for the swingout spare tire carrier, which has to first be opened in order to access the tool box.

As requested:
