Ya that looks good, I really have not got that far yet just cause I have not even got the upper back yet but fully plan to put my zero out a ways. Looking at that 600 seems like the sweet spot.

Tomorrow is the day! I get to bring the upper home. Ill get some pic of it once I get it but I got to see it today and it is :bling:, I really cant wait to shoot it.

I also got my ammo for the course I will be at on July 13th. 750 rounds of BlackHills 77g SMK.

Im going to do a little shooting barrel breakin this weekend then once I get back ill put some time into gettting a good zero.

Got her home from the machine shop and put it all together. Test fired 4 rounds and everthing seems to work good. :cheer:

Some pics of the goodies, and her put away in her home away from home. Off to the east side for some fun this weekend.

Now that this build is done for the most part I would like to thank and recomend some key folks invalved in making this happen on such short notic.

Benchmark Barrels
Magpul
Opsgear
Luepold

Thanks for the great products, customer service and the willingness to help get this project done on time to shoot at the SPR/DMR Magpul course. You all rock!

Little update, I was able to get out and shoot Sunday with a friend from work and got it zeroed at 100 yards. She prints good with the BlackHills 77g SMKs. I also shot 4 rounds through a cronograph and got a good velocity to use for my dope.

The first group shown was one of my last ones and was the best I shot, it measured .313" from center of hole to center of hole. The second group shown was one of my worst due to slight human error and measured .842" or so. I would say its a sub 1/2 MOA gun if I do my part.

Sweet build and a nice group :awesomework:

Thank you.

Ill try and get as many pics as I can this weekend at the MagPul event. Its gonna be hotter then two rats ****in in a wool sock over there. The event takes place out near Hanford. We will run her though the ringer along with myself and see how we do! Im pumped!

$700 and they don't even provide chow...make sure to take an MRE just to keep it real :redneck:

:haha: I know, no ****! I spent all my money on the gun and ammo so ill be eating trailmix. :redneck:

Sorry I blew you off for the zeroing, I was just on a really tight time line and didnt know when you would be available. Lets get together sometime tho and send some down range. :awesomework:

Well she has 427 rounds through her with zero problems, no double feeds, no stove pipes no nothing. I ran it hard all weekend in 102* heat, sand and dirt everywhere. Hell of a gear shakedown for sure. Awesome weekend 7 other cool folks. Longest shot was 722 yards and it did it with ease in a gusty 7-8 mph FV wind. It was a blast!

Just a few pics of the last day we did some baricade work at 300 yards.
