Superbowl Sunday is d-day. Took a few minutes today, and put her on jackstands, kinda cleaned up the shop.

I've actually had the ProRock for several years. Two winters ago, was going to do it, but spent all my time buying the house, and getting it ready. Last year, spent all my time rebuilding the TJ. So this winter is YJ time.

For sale sometime after Sunday; one massively polished D44; Warn Chromoly 30 spline inner and outer shafts, CTM joints, Detroit, 4.56 gears, passenger drop, low pinion, includes drilled knuckle for high steer on drivers side only, is narrow track Wagoneer / Scout width (used Scout OEM length axles), has Warn premium internal splined wheel hubs, with Warn 30 spline stub axle Premium Locking Hubs (with set-screws), includes brakes, rotors, calipers, etc.

My hope is to get the swap done complete on Sunday, with the exceptions of getting new brake hoses made, and shortening the driveshaft.

Tony did u get joints from bobby or have a set of new spare CTMs... I will buy if u do. Wud like to toss new ones in while my 44 is tore down.

These CTMs are probably 10 years old.

I've snapped one Warn axle during those years. The CTM cross was perfect, but one of the caps got damaged, so I replaced that cap and ordered an extra. All I think I still have in CTM stuff is one cap and a set of the bronze-alloy bushings.

As far as I know, all these CTMs are still tight. They were greased religiously.

The D60 has Bobby's joints. As does the D60 in wifes' TJ.

Back when I built this 44 axle, Bobby was strictly Toyota.

Need to swap out the JY factory welded on upper shock mounts, for something taller. I understand Ford has a common swapped mount, that was (is?) a bolt on application, and taller than stock. Any ideas what application? Where I might find this?

Thanks.

On it's feet:

Still need brake hoses, bleed brakes, maybe shorten driveshaft, and shock mounts.

Your axle is on the wrong side of the leaf springs... :fawkdancesmiley:

Lincoln wire isn't bad, We do run hobart at work though, its a fairly nice wire.
