shortening leaf springs?

I am not sure where to find it now, but when we were deciding which springs to put under my rig, we found a table on the Internet that showed the length, offset, etc., of basically every leaf spring out there.

Spend some time with your friend Google and you should be able to find it.

I did a yj conversion a couple years ago on a tintop that had toyota springs cut about 4" from each end, overlapped and welded all 4 sides. :redneck: It drove on and off the trailer just fine. :haha:
