Beefy.. I was able to reuse the steering dampner by cutting the pressed washer off and simply bolting it to the new tierod..

So some said they had clearance issues with this kit an 16" wheels. Well i found the stud portion of the tie rod ends rubbing the inside of the wheel. I cut about 2/3 off and its perfect..

This thing drives like a dream now.

My son took the guys golfing when we were down south and "dad, is this the same truck",lol..

I even narrowed down a clicky noise I have been trying to figure out..

So next the steering linkage itself. I hated the damn Ybar setup and I could always tell the toe changing when I towed.

Some digging and I was able to compile a list of all the MOOG parts needed to swap it to the Tbar setup and another option besides that.

DS1456-Long tie rod
DS1459-Draglink
ES3494-Left tie rod
ES3527-Top tie rod at pitman
ES2012S-Small adj sleeve
ES3498S-Large adj sleeve

So the second option is a HD mopar kit that comes with everything and actually isn't priced to bad.
::
Part number 52122362AL

The best price I found for the kit

http://moparonlineparts.com/oemparts.php?partstr=/52122362al.html

I ended up ordering the kit as it was still cheaper with shipping than sourcing the parts even thru amazon.

Searching on the interweb and cant a definite answer

Is there a particular year range all the mopar kit works with the 2nd gens? I have a 98 and getting ready to do all this junk to mine just wanna make sure its 100% right before I run the card. The price mopar is asking is not bad at all just want to make sure itll work

This thread was about perfect timing. at 276k on the dodge she's been OVERDUE for sometime...

Question Crash

When you installed the FASS where did you install the fuel line pressure sensor?

It does not look like you put it on the pump?

Thanks
