Long story short, I've been interested in werock and cone dodging for a few years now. Dumb luck happened and I ended up as the promod spotter for the texas rock gods in the werock eastern series this year which opened up a door I never imagined possible to acquire. This all took place within the same time frame of finishing up my M&M buggy in October last year and still having my old buggy complete. The old buggy was clapped out beyond measure but the parts were good. I stripped down the old buggy and sold the chassis for cheap which left me with a pile of parts that needed a home. Earlier this year, I picked up a JHF goatbuilt kit from a guy in Maryland to put most of my old stuff in for a simple rock buggy/ cone dodger as time allows. The goal is to be setup for Promod (locking rear steer out and 40s) or unlimited with rear steer and 43s. Current plans are:

Big block turbo 22r on propane
Aw4
atlas 5:1
Coilovers
simple shaved lp60 front cut down to 64"
super shave 14b cut down to 63" and rear steer

I have a pretty simple vision of it in my head that should work well. The chassis kit will be going to Rev Limit Fab in about a month for assembly then i'll bring it home and start on everything else. I've been calling this my five year project so we will see how it goes on time frame. Its been a long time since I documented a build thread, but figured it was a good place for one. I will update as progress is slowly made.

Well look at you working on super secret squirrel stuffs!

Is it possible to spot for one team and compete as another team within the same ProMod division?

As far as I know, yes. Spotters kinda fall into the generic category and can change if needed. Not sure about werock but xrock made a rule against pro spotter can not help a non pro class which makes good sense if for no other reason than it slows down the movement of the competition.

That's cool then and makes sense about interchangeability.

Little update… chassis is done, rev limit fab killed it with an awesome job! The d60 is cleaned up for the most part and 4" section cut out of it. We're all kingpin 60s 1/2" wall tube? Impressive nonetheless. 14b spindles have been cut off and a buddy has drawn up an adapter to go from the old 14b tube to the 05up sd C. Need a small section of 2.125" tube to slug the 60 back together then will be waiting on the 14b adapters. Slowly gathering parts for this thing so when I actually move it in the shop I can make a decent start.

Will continue to update as I go and will also update as things happen to the other buggies as well. Dads may get trailing arms this winter. Stay tuned.
