Responsibilities
•
The Park Manager oversees all aspects of the OHV Park operation and is ultimately responsible for how all business is conducted in all areas of the park
•
The Park Manager is also responsible for promoting a positive work environment, maintaining the off highway vehicle culture and providing the park the opportunity to succeed, grow and thrive
•
The Park Manager is also responsible for ensuring that each guest to the park has an enjoyable and memorable experience
•
The Park Manager will report to the Coalmont OHV Park Board
•
Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the assigned park by overseeing course upkeep, maintenance and repairs
•
Overseeing design, implementation and handling of all park projects, programs, and operational duties, including systems operation and infrastructure maintenance
•
Creatively bring and implement innovative ideas, park structures and operation to the assigned park; this involves communicating new ideas to the Coalmont OHV Park Board
•
Implement park policies and procedures, and best practices/strategies, make recommendations and assist in additions/changes to the policy and procedure manual
•
Coordinates and assists with special events and programs
•
Interaction with the public, community, and children
•
Responds to and resolves inquiries regarding programs and services; responds to requests, concerns, questions, and complaints
•
Oversee the safety protocols and procedures to ensure safety for all guests and employees
•
Accountable for the overall operations of the park ensuring maximum sales and profitability
•
Oversees reservation system, processing payments/fees of guests to the park, daily deposits
•
Keeping detailed records of cash flow, and deposits, for audit
•
Effectively respond to high-pressure situations, rescues and/or emergency situations that may arise
•
Assists with budget preparations; prepares cost estimates for budget recommendations; monitors and controls expenditures
•
Attend, as needed, community events, recreation and various meetings to promote and develop support for recreation programs and events
•
Attend meetings of the OHV Park Board and the City of Coalmont
•
Keep records of labor and materials
•
Prepare detailed records and reports in a timely manner
•
Exposure to all types of weather and will work around light and heavy equipment
•
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
