First trip to coalmont this weekend. We had never been so we kinda feeled our way around. Seems like a pretty sweet place to ride . It seems like there's plenty of room for trail cutting. The only issue I see is if you have catastrophic failure theres no way your buddy could pull you back to the trailer up out of that gulf .

We went last summer and ran across a stock Silverado 1500 stuck down there. Some old man on oxygen with two grown women and two kids. We had to pull them up to the parking lot. No idea why they were down there

Yes sir heat was working . We happened up on some folks on sxs's with no cab enclosures and I was like theres no way . It had to be in the mid 20s down there . I went to air my tires back up to leave and my valve stem caps were froze on .

Probably locals lol . That road coming out of there is narrow too , especially if you meet another rig. I did notice a pretty sweet swimming hole with a rope swing .

on working heater and frozen valve stems is a new one.

I take it you've had to do it lol. I figured after they got alittle more up and going they would work on the roads more.

Not in the coalmont park, but I have drug people out from the bottom of the cove to the top of the mountain several times.

I think Benji went in that way a few weeks ago. I havent heard much of anything about it.

I know Ultimate Adventure went to the Cove last week but not sure how they went in whether at Coalmont or different way.

Still honor system $10. Apparently they've had some vandalism problems as well and its not even "open" yet . But nonetheless they are close to finish date.

The pic I saw looked like somebody that was riding there backed over one of the new RV hook ups with their trailer and drove off . I could be wrong . There is some rough people in grundy but there's some I wouldn't trade for alot people.
