So after years of on-line research Im ready to start building the best mud bouncer rock buggy. Here is what I got stockpiled. Any suggestions would be helpful this is my first jeep build.
I've got an 89 s10 blazer I'm going to remove frame and run it like a Cherokee to save weight. Gotta have room for all the sub woofers
Axles- I'm going to keep the front suspension for ground clearance. I was going to put birfields on the knucckles for better turning.
Rear I got a ttb axle out of a ranger so I can have rear steer
Suspension- airbags on front with a 7 link on rear with leefsprings and double boomerang shackles
Motor- stock motor out of Sami my friend gave me I'm going to run a quad turbo set up with Honda rancher carbs
Armor- i was going to use schedule 40 or should I go with exaust pipe 5 inch?
Tires- apparently everybody has bought the best because I can't find no 44 inch thorn birds anywhere! Guess I go with tractor tires with snow chains

I am looking for some Lamborghini door hinges. And a good snorkel if anybody has one for sale

I think you were looking for the Pirate 4x4 boards. :gtfo:

Sweet on the footprint gas pedal it will go good with my chain link steering wheel. Hey where is the mud forum on here?
I really want to four stick my Borg-Warner t-case. (high and low for each tire)

TO THA MOON :gtfo:

Hey next time you see Travis tell him to answer his damn phone or check his messages, I don,t know why anybody would avoid ME ;D

OH,,, and I have a set of old but good tractor frame link mount points that are set up for full elliptial orbital float helix compression joint situations that would be PERFECT for the 7 link :dblthumb:

Laugh all you want I've been wanting to put some lambo tube doors on a Buggie for a while! :****:

Trans? I was going to run it direct drive to keep the drivetrain short as possible. I'm looking to be in the 45 to 55 inch wheel base. Still looking for four good turbos I don't know what size would be good with that motor.

you should run glass packs, and you have run a water hose up in them when there hot to break the glass. they sound more gooder

She's coming along nice. I had to stop working on her ran out of jb weld. Good call on the exhaust. Some of them chevy tips too. For those of you that do a lot of muddin 7 link goes like this double triangle links, crisscross pahhard bars, and a traction bar to eliminate wheel hop. Also talking to my cousin who knows someone that has a welder thinking about portals on the ttb and ifs.

I got some roller casters you can put on roof so it will keep going when you flip. I also got an extra hand operated winch to stick up front! :driving:

that wheel base is gonna be sick man . if take the carb off and cut the intake out for maximum flow u could prolly run a couple 106 mm turbos. prolly would help to remove ex manifold also thumb.gif

Going to start grooving my thornbirds up today. Going to call them "Washington dc cut" they gonna be fawked up bad when I get done.
