Good luck young man. It's always nice to see someone putting effort in their passion. You will know real quick if you have the talent for building quality buggies. There is a lot more than meets the eye to building a buggy that works and looks good. I'm anxious to see your work!

thanks. I appreciate it. I wanna build a chassis not that I'll sell just one to display so I'd build it outta hrew.

So when you get a bender, welder etc. are you going to start off by building a full tube chassis?

lol bend tech pro 3d and jd2 model 32 bender will become my friend. But yes bender and welder I'll build my exo cage then build a couple tube bumpers get practice and go to town

If you have enough skills to bend and build a chassis. Why would you use all store bought brackets and mounts? Why would you spend a $1000 on beadlocks when you can build DIY for a little more than half that? That shifter is great for a drag car but in a buggy you need something that you can go from D to R really fast like a $100 to $150 dirt track shifter. You can but a set of Rocks for $1200. That is stock you would still have to debrake, lock and add pinion brakes to them. $1200 just became $1600 to $2800 depending on how you lock them and what brakes you use and that is with stock 16 spline shafts. If you are gonna spend $1000 on a motor and trans. Why would you not use an LS motor with injection? It would be cheaper than $2500 for a motor, ignition and propane fuel system. I am sure the jegs fans are great but I bet a $20 Taurus fan from pullapart will move just as much air (just ask around).

One thing you left off of the list is Transfer case.

I am not trying to put you or your work down or call you out. All I am trying to point out is that you need to stick around and learn a little before you open a shop or build anything for the public (friends included). I admire your enthusiasm but slow down and learn a little bit before you try to know everything. I understand you have build a couple of bolt together rigs (they must have been bolt together since you haven't got a welder) but this is a whole new game where not only could you get somebody hurt you could get them killed trying to learn what you are doing.

i hope i dont have to do it but mine might be forsale. less then 20.

I actually had a welder but sold it right after I built the orange and black jeep. I asked the guy WHAT HE WANTED and he wanted a 350 on propane. He said rock wells cause he didn't wanna spend 1500 on a Dana 60 then add stronger kingpins rcv axle shafts lockers. He wanted the rock wells welded instead of off the shelf lockers.

Everybody has to learn how to do anything, and the only way is to do it over and over and ask a lot of questions.Take your time do it right and don't cut corners on things that matter and you will be fine.
