Well, I'm new to the forum. I've snooped around here for information for a while now, and figured I may as well join. I've been fooling around with a buggy build for the last year or so, and I'm just about ready to take it out for it's first catastrophic failure. Not much WOW factor, but I think it'll do ok for my first attempt at a ground up build.

Thats a sick looking chassis !! way different than anything else

Just joined up, this is my current wheeler, a '99 XJ on 33's. It has been evolving over the last 8 or so years, and was my DD until about 2 years ago. Now l am wanting more so a buggy build is in the near future.

Always nice to see another XJ. Just curious how and where you attached the bars on the A pillar.

The a pillar and inner fender structure was plated with 3/16" and then the tube welded to them. There are also tube clamps just below where the tube drop thru the fender so the whole outer portion of the cage can be removed.

i posted this once dont know if it ever made it but this is my project it has a partial 84 regular cab frame rest is caged and putting 4 link rear just got it installed, undecided on 3 or 4 link for front, putting 2.0 FOA coilovers 14 front 16 rear, 3.4l v6 toyota motor, undecided on dual tcases or creeper gear, but the main goal is to stay all toyota to see how it will work out as a cage buggy and how much abuse it will take,
