bamatoy BJ said he would finish up the welding for me. so here in a few weeks we will get on it.
be ready for next year.

Damn man I hate to hear that bro hope they get ya fixed up soon cus ur rig looked sick And you need any more help holla and I'll come down and help ya to :dblthumb: ain't nothin worse than not being able to do what you want when you want hope ya get better and seriously up you need help call and I'll come down and help OK

Got most of the tube lying around for the inner slip part I'm using 1.5 x.250 dom wall every thing else I was planning on using the 1.75 x.120 wall hrew I had and sleeving it with a bit of 1.5x .120 wall I had but the welded seam won't let my 1.5 slide in and a diegrinder only get down 6 in or so so if I can't figure a way to deburr that seam I might have to buy a piece of 1.75x.120 Dom which sucks cus I really only need 4-5ft at most and I'd hate to buy a 20 ft stick for that I might weld a file to some 3/4in square stock I got a start to file like hell :****: that just came to me gonna go try :dblthumb:

Re: Re: anti wrap bar placement ?

Why not take a flap wheel to the inside piece where the seam will ride, it should slide in with some persuasion...

Well I finished up my anti wrap bar today here some pics and have to give thanks to Mo for the inspiration, :dblthumb: I believe I turned out a lot better that my original planned design using a shackle, now that i'm not gonna have any wrap to deal with next ride out I'll fide something else it needs probably all tho this and the duals I will pretty damn happy :****: now I wanna ride

molaugh molaugh molaugh molaugh we can go break it asap is my preference and you did have it until the moment it all went upside down then you lost it :****: at least I was nice enough to get a picture for u :flipoff1: and thanks for the comments guys I appreciate it I was gonna put one more piece of tubing in the middle of the y'd part but all the bent pieces of tubing I had looked nappy when I laid them in there so I went with that

Just an observation...
You'll want to add to the bar to the front like so.... it will break at the weld part or bend how you have it....been there...

I kind of though about that ...want it to at least go to were the 1.5 x .250 is huh well I'll do some mods to it today

And Jroach sorry bud I don't I only had about 4 ft an used it all sleeving and for the slip if I did I would bro

Well again taking Mo's advice I modified the bar and added another piece to it all tho after measuring my 1.5x.250 wall went past the y by 3 inches at ride height but I do like it better now here's some pics of the newer bar

Re: Re: anti wrap bar placement ?

Glad I could help.. on mine, the 1.5"x.25" inner is 18-20" to hit the most surface, yours should hold up tho!
