The weather was right for wheelin yesterday so we got the 1/10 scale rigs out and went to the park. Most of the guys in our group are crawlers but a few of us like to bounce. Here's a video of some low budget wheelin, I hope you guys don't mind me posting it here.

Pretty cool, their are a good bit of folks on here that have Rc Crawlers also. We will have some of them at Morris Mountain for the shamrock run. Never know when the big toy be broke!

I wonder if anyone messed with them on here! Just as addicting as this hobby. There's no telling how many thousands of dollars I spent before I decided I needed to get a real rig. I do have some very nice crawlers, i'm a little OCD. Recently I just started building my first tube chassis my God talk about pulling your hair out!!! This was last night I'll post a picture up of what I've got done since then. Amazing how fun it is, also amazing how driving is the same exact principles. Matter fact I think it's a great way for someone to learn the basics of off-roading. As Far as steering and off camber and stuff like that. Not to mention the fact that it keeps me out of jail! Haha.

S10me, my son and I go to a lotta parks to wheel and we always take the rc crawlers, 1:1 trails make some good spots. Superlift Offroad park has a cool RC course near their pavilion. We had a KOH type of race at the Hog Wild Shootout last year. We were running ifs rigs with 2 speed transmissions. You would drive fast down the trail in 2nd gear and then you would shift down to 1st gear and crawl through the rough stuff. It was a fun style race and rig.

Kushkrawlin Im an RC addict for sure and i agree on the RCs helping someone learn to drive offroad, my 15 year old son is proof of that. That's a sweet rig your building what kind of skid plate are you using?

Most guys are using solid rod steel, if your gonna beat on it brake tubing wont last. There are a few top builders using chromoly and one of the guys from my club is using titanium. Im from Middle Tennessee about 25 miles from Murfreesboro.

Im West of Atlanta about 40 minutes from Alabama on I20. I was going to use the wraith skid, and should have but i have a few ax10 and scx10 skids layin around so im goin that way, also they are a bit more narrow. I have an addictive personality BAD, when I get into something on balls to the wall .. Like my rig , since I purchased I have worked on it every single night it's been over a year It's insane how much money you can spend on them. It's also crazy how accurate they are to the real thing. The red one I probably have as much as I do as tha D 60 on the front of ****. It keeps me busy. I used to think remote-control folks were a bunch of goobers, and for the most part I guess they are. Haha. But everyone of my friends that has ever drove one of mine end up gettin one. Also I have to have something to do and no one else is down to wheel like i am and around here. Anyways heres a few of them. The red one is ths beast. Its bullet proof, crazy the power it can make. I have to keep it tuned down. As far as the Chassis goes, i was makin one outta steel rod but switched to brake line.. Much easier to work with. Like said above the steel is much stronger, but if built right they can take a beating. I may do my next one in steel. This **** takes forever. :o. If ya wanna see nuts look at Vanquish.com and check out tha wheels. Some are 200+ a set!!! >:(

hey 95jeep85, mani gotta ask, that Wrexo, is BADASS!! what'd you do put wraith axles under an EXO or is it IFS? that bitch is bad.. im sure most have no idea how much tedioius time consuming hours of work is in that but i dam sure do.. good work there.. :dblthumb:

It was solid front and rear. Took the bottom half of a wraith and top half of an exo. I cant take credit. I did some trading to get the chassis and ended up building the rest of it! I traded it for the berg because it was too purdy to crawl with!

That's what is on my DMG chassis machine now. Getting ready to sell one similar to the blue one this week.

Y'all have some cool rigs.
That solid axle Exo turned out sweet, I started one myself last week, It's still a long way from finished.

Here's my IFS Wraith with trailing arms

And here's a few more

FOFF rig
Fat Girl buggy

And if you drive like I do, your driver will need an extra pair of drawers!!!

Did u build tha "FAT GIRL 2" there in tha pics? That's kind of what I was basing mine off of.. Dear God what a process. I'd like to see some more pictures of that Wraith with tha EXO Body on it. Trying to picture how you did it. I have both so I could make one. Have thought about it before but I'm not doing the type where you cut it in half and all that. Don't care to have IFS on my wraith. Those things look good Brother.
