I have a 4runner buggy with a 83 straight axle. I broke the right side birfield. Going to install the longfield 30 splines. While breaking it down there is a brass bushing in the axle tube behind the axle seal that has damage. Anybody know where to get it or what it's called?

I'm new to the Toyota. I've had a tj for a while. This is the birfield that came out of it

well what's left of it

There is no brass bushing I that location from toyota. That is some sort of upgrade. There is no need for a bushing in that location.

that is the brass bushing when using the eliminator axles.

you might want to check your spindles to, to make sure they are factory and not the eliminator axle spindles.

factory Toyota spindles on the right in the pic.

My spindle looks like the one on the left. I'll get a pic of it when I get back to the shop. So I'll need new stock spindles to run the longfield birfield?

That is a bushing for the Birfield eliminator kit I have put 3 sets of them in Yota axles several years ago somone has prolly broke one and put the Birf back in it when I did them we bought them from Randys Ring and Pinion

I just got this buggy last week and broke it the first day. The guy said he had already broke the right side before. When I get to the shop I'm going to break down the left side and see if it has the eliminator kit in it. I'm ordering the 30 spline longfield and ultimate knuckle rebuild kit today. Looks like I'll need to new spindles

I am located in Scottsboro al 35768
I do not have a paypal account but I
can ask a buddy of mine at work to see if I can use his
$35.00 each, let me know and I will check to see how many spindles I have
