What I meant by what's the use us my kids are teenagers 13&14. We let them believe as long as they did
they figured it out on there own. Maybe together idk. We have no one in our immediate family that is young enuff
to still believe. I miss it. I would have been all over the elf on the shelf. 10 years ago. Let them be kids. It's only
a very short time

Are they supposed to be bad? We told our kids the elf's watch them so they should behave. We have not had our elf do anything mischevious for that reason.
