Bringing this thread back from the dead thanks to the "Random Media" option.

Juggy with frame rail from back of the motor mounts to behind the seats. 6.0 LS, TH400, Atlas 3.8, Dana 60, Dana 70u, 39" Reds, and Racelines. 4100 pounds full of gas (18 gallons), misc tools, and spare fluids without passengers.

Back-halfed samurai buggy with 1.6 engine, 5 speed with samurai/sidekick doubler, Toyota axles, 40" treps on Racelines.
3,080 lbs with full tank of propane, misc. tools, fluids, and full cooler.

Truck was 4153 lbs completely race ready in 2020. That was including a lot of unnecessary parts, tools and two full propane tanks. The truck will be getting tech inspected by USAC for the 2022 ULTRA4 season. I will post the current weight after tech.

Truck was 4453 lbs completely race ready in 2020. That was including a lot of unnecessary parts, tools and two full propane tanks. The truck will be getting tech inspected by USAC for the 2022 ULTRA4 season. I will post the current weight after tech.

Curious to see the new "race weight."

With the Tech change to USAC, is it a full re-Tech, as if it's a new build that's never been tech'd/banded before, or just a quick check over for safety equipment dates and anything obviously wrong/unsafe?

It is going to be a full re-tech and re-banding prior to the 2022 race season. ULTRA4 has setup authorized tech locations all over the country. There are two locations here in Colorado I have contacted.

That's what I thought was the case for 2022, but wasn't for sure.
 
I understood it was a rebanding but those that where previously banded would be grandfathered in. Do you have more info on this. If it is a complete re-inspection, i am out of the racing business with this chassis.

I am planning for a full re-tech. I heard they will be weighting and checking tube size. My truck was built in accordance with the 2020 U4 rule book so I am good either way. If you have something questionable I would fix it prior to tech or contact someone at U4 and ask them. I should have my appointment soon and I will let you know the details of the process.

I am not sure who to even contact now.
