Suzi Q Samurai buggy build

Pock said:
This is one of the nicest sami builds i've ever seen. Your work and welds are beautiful! Looking forward to seeing it in person. Just out of curiosity, if it was working well with the yota axles and you weren't breaking, why go tons & add the extra weight?

Edited: I read Ryans post first and didn't realize you had mentioned the welds or work, if your talking about the sheetmetal cage and suspension setup then that was done by Chris at MarsFab which I had mentioned earlier in the build thread. Sorry for any confusion deffinately wasn't trying to take credit I just didn't read everything very well since I'm usually in a hurry on my phone.
Thanks man, like Ryan already said I felt like I couldn't push the rig like I wanted for fear of breaking the axles. The yotas probably could have held up for awhile without any issues but I couldn't shake the thought of breaking in the first five minutes from my head so I needed something stronger.

Sweet rig man I like the way it's looking can't wait to see it in action with the tons :****: hitit

Thanks I don't know where your located but I will be at Grayrock at the end of Feb if your there come on up and say hi.

I think we plan on goin to hale February 7th but may go to gray rock also depends on how everything works out but maybe we will make it :driving:

Got the bump cans welded on and painted. Nothing fancy just simple and compact.

Also got the beadlocks welded on and most of them painted. I think these are going to look good on it.

I'd say that he is a lot more confident in it now. Gave it a good beat down on Cremepuff and ran Lions Den in both directions.

Here's the vid of him climbing the drop in on Lions Den

Re:

I spent several hours in this rig last weekend and it just flat out works now!! Really like the overall finished product, this thing took some hardcore beating and held up. Has good power, but not a gas hog, has wheel speed and a low crawl speed. Overall a really nicely done rig. Props!!

Re:

Sucks to spend atlas money, but it is nice to have atlas insurance.
