I don't think she works there anymore. The one that did know every part number and detail now does pottery and hand made plates. Only reason I know is my wife has them in her store and me and her had this look like I know you do you know me. Second time she came in the store I had on a madram shirt and we figured it out. Not saying whoever works there now doesn't know what they are doing. I just hadn't needed any parts in the last year or so.

That was Beth........ Her husband, Nathan, is a long time member of CAOS. Yes, she knows more about building one that some of the people that drive them.

We are located in Birmingham near the Sloss furnace . We have had some issues in the past with shipping and promising out of stock orders to customers at certain times. We have since corrected a handful of the issues that were causing the problems (all which were internal )and have been moving forward with the day to day sales and doing our best at providing the best customer service we can . We don't try and sell you the 200K buggy builds when all you have is a question about how a part will work on your project. I have been here at BTF through 3 owners and must say that the way things are headed we are looking better than ever.

thanks

james

3 owners? Who owns it now? Dan>Jason> ???????

Re: Why no love for BTF?

Just ordered some stuff, they got a good sale going on through today and free shipping!

Re: Why no love for BTF?

I have ordered several parts from BTF, they have always had a good turn around time for me. The last time I ordered it was from a young Lady over the phone and she knew her stuff, got the parts to me before the weekend ride too.

Re: Why no love for BTF?

I can say I haven checked out the site in years and took a look today and it's a better looking sight from what I last recall.

Re: Why no love for BTF?

I used to buy a ton of stuff from them simply because they where local and had qa1s on hand. I bought all the armor minus tube fenders for the yj from them along with a ton of tabs, bungs, gussets, and diff covers for My stuff as well as customers builds but after having Jason talk to me like I was an idiot and call me a liar over the phone after simply discussing a fitment issue on the rear comp corners I lost all interest in spending anymore dollars there. Since getting word he was gone a few weeks ago I will be gladly taking my money's back to them for the goodies I need.

Re: Why no love for BTF?

Stopped in today. Grabbed some limit straps and tabs. They didn't have enough tabs, so the salesman ran in the back and burned one in about 3 mins. thumb.gif

Salesman let my 6 year old daughter look in the back at a couple of ultra 4 builds. When weeft she told me "dad your buggy is waaaay cooler than those".

They had this winch. Pic does it no justice thing was like 3 feet wide.

Re: Why no love for BTF?

Redwinch with wide drum winch.
They're pretty common on this side of the atlantic amongst competitors.
Great Price/Quality ratio, and they're really reliable.

Re: Why no love for BTF?

Been by a few times recently to get some small parts. Always great customer service.

The redwinches are badass from what I read online. The winch world is crazy overseas. Double motors on 8724s and wide drums. It seems to me that redwinch is bringing that stuff here to the states.
They are also getting into the transfercase game.

It's still in Bham. Not a bad place to go if Jason isn't there.

That is the reason I quit going there. Which sucked because I only live an hour away.

After Peter took over and got james back on board I started going back.

I bought Diff Covers and a few other things for my buggy from there. Their High Steer Arms are Stout too! I bent the Solid ones in one race lol.

Re: Why no love for BTF?

I have ordered a few things from BTF and have never had a problem. And I have always had my Parts with in 2 days even though I don't live to faraway. But with that being said only thing I don't like about there sight, is that their sight needs to be more labeled on buying pairs or if it's just a single, as in ( tabs, and gusset) I have ordered some inner C gussets with coilovers mounts, and they only come singles obviously. But that's something I can live with to Support an alabama based company

Re:

I placed a custom order thursday during sema week via text, box showed up tues ahead of schedule.

I wish I other vendors had that quickness. :dblthumb:

Re: Why no love for BTF?

I went by the shop a little over a year ago to buy some springs from someone who works in the shop. Cool sales room and place. Prices seem right for the stuff on their site.
