Does anyone do it?

I recently bought a new to me pop-up with 8ft box and thinking about pulling it behind my 18ft car hauler trailer with the jeep on it. I've researched and found that it is legal in Tennessee as long as total length is not over 65' and not over on gross weight.
This will give me and the boy a place to stay at parks in TN and KY.
Anyone know of any problems doing this other than trying to back it up?

I do it quite a bit during the summer. I also did it some back in my mud riding days. Backing up is possible, but I pick and choose where I go to avoid it. I've yet to be messed with by the law in Texas. You do have to pay attention because the back trailer does not follow the tracks of the middle trailer in the turns.

I didn't think you could combine with bumper to bumper. I thought it had to be goose neck to bumper. :dunno:
. You are rite, But I think as long as everything is "safe" all lights working, chains hooked upped etc. you would be ok, unless you run across that one asshole of the year cop.

Haven't seen anything about bumper to bumper in TN. Maybe I need to look some more.

Let my Class A run out this time, since I haven't needed them in over 10 years. Makes it easier to ask forgiveness than permission.

Probably shouldn't do it often but, I did what Kush said. After a little paint and some weathering it'll look like it's always been there.

Throw a little salt water on those fresh welds. That will make them weather a little faster. Old derby trick

vinegar, salt, and hydrogen peroxide in a spray bottle...instant rust.

I welded a hitch to the back of my 16' trailer and pulled a rzr in a 2nd trailer behind my crawler all the way to Bridgeport TX and back with no issues. Scared as hell the whole time but it works great!

I was going to pull my pop-up behind my 16' trailer, But I'm puss'n out on that. I bought a 24" trailer to haul camper and rig on. It would suck to be 5 hours from home and get pulled over. :****:

Why would you get pulled over in a state that it's legal? Don't think I'd try it in a state that doesn't allow it. Like AL or GA but, TN says you can with certain restrictions so why not?

Just for the record ain't no way In hell id do it.. No Fukin way Jose. Straight to jail. First time with my luck. I was really just makin sure everyone knew what a hard ass chad was... Count me out too man. I can already see the blue lights in another state. And yes, that **** would suck :****:
