How to get more flex from leafs

What are some cheap ways to get some more flex out of my rear has bds 2inch springs? Just seams stuff to me

Set your shackle bout 45 degrees or more I had great flex out of 2.5" soft ride springs.

Your tires are all up in your fenders.... not much place for the tires to go when its flexed out.
Usually longer springs and or longer shackles help. But your only gonna get so much out of leaf springs
 
Or go spring over..
This is BDS 2" 36" under rear tire at 30 psi

Haven't measured the shocks but it flexes the same with the shocks unhooked so they aren't limiting me. I'm gonna cut the finders if I can ever get the tires to hit them.

The front seems to do fine. It flexes good and never gets into the finders after I took the plastics off. Just trying to get a little more out of the rear. I was thinking about some shackles.

It's close but they're not hitting the frame. With boomerang shackles do they lift the vehicle any? I'm trying to keep this thing as low as possible.

boomerangs are only to clear things if straight shackles hit.

revolvers just give you free hanging droop. Not really that useful IMO.



Honestly it looks like it flexes plenty to me, especially for a short wheelbase rig.

The rear won't flex as much when it's up in the air, because it don't have any weight to make the springs work.

How does it look when you drive the front end up the ramp?



I'd check for shock length causing binding or bottoming out first.

Also keep an eye on brakelines.
 
However much longer than your current shackles, they increase your height half that much. But if you're not hitting the frame now than there's not much reason to go with boomies.
 
I use to run BDS springs with boomerang shackles in the rear and revolvers up front and I thought they were the perfect combo. Kept it low and it flexed great.

Longer shackles are the easiest fix but If your shackles are not maxing out in either direction, longer shackles when only help very little.

I had spring over on stock springs. Mine flex way better than all my buddies who had 2.5 and 4 inch lift springs.

Are the axles locked or welded? If both axles are locked I wouldn't worry about it. It's neat to see your rig all flexed out. When your out trail riding with front and rear locked flex isn't that big of an issue.

same set up on my old scrambler except skyjacker easy ride springs...
