This build started in sept 2019, thought I was gonna be able to have it don't by my sons 6th birthday. That didn't happen due to some family passing away and then Covid hit. Finally finished it up this year.

I would also like to say this was my first fabrication/welding project. It's not perfect, but I think it turned out ok.
Anyway enough let's get down to the good stuff.

The kids chassis is from Goatbuilt, it was originally designed for a atv motor/trans. I had him make the subframe 4" deeper than the original design. It's a tight fit for the drivetrain I used but seems to be working so far.

That turned out great man. Has it been out at all yet?

Edit* Vids got posted while I typed that
We took it to a friends property after I got it done to check things out and then we went to the badlands this past weekend, my buggy had some issues so we had to pack up and head home. Wish we would of had other people with us so he could keep wheeling. So far He seems to like it.

That's awesome, aside from yours having issues obviously. I've thought about building my kids a rig as well. But I've already got 2 in the fleet and not enough room. Maybe some day.

Do it, it will be some great memories for the kids! I tell you one thing it was cool as **** seeing him follow me around at the badlands. He wants to do YouTube videos of him wheeling, I just need to figure out how to make that happen.

I ain't gonna lie. That sucker nicer than my pile, wish more parents get their kids outdoors. Some of my best childhood memories are outside with my old man. You win awesome dad award for sure

Thanks, I do wonder what he's thinking when he drives it, cause he's a different kid when he's behind the wheel. He's got adhd and can be a spaz at times but behind the wheel he's pretty serious about it which is a good thing. I do hope it brings him a lot of good memories.
Once I get my buggy figured out "fuel delivery issues", I plan on going out as much as possible before he out grows this buggy.
