99-04 Grand Cherokee (WJ) Lift Recommendations

So far it seems as though everyone is recommending Claytons... when I get the vehicle, I will probably end up going with them. Thanks for the input everyone.

99-04 Grand Cherokee (WJ) Lift Recommendations

Also... the WJ will be about 80% onroad with about 20% offroad for usage. Since it will be my only means of transportation, I don't plan on beating it too hard offroad. Once I can afford to have a daily driver and a wheeler... I will get another Toyota... but until then, the WJ will have to work.

99-04 Grand Cherokee (WJ) Lift Recommendations

Don't have money for two rigs... if so, I would say screw any type of jeep all together, buy a Suburban for commuting and hauling the kid around and go with a better wheeler... TOYOTA. But, since money is an issue and I want an offroad capable everyday driver I figured the WJ would be the best...

99-04 Grand Cherokee (WJ) Lift Recommendations

I figure based on the pricing I have seen online so far, I will be looking 2300-2700 just for the lift... does not include gears, wheels, or tires. I would like to lock it up front and rear, but I don't think I will have the funds right away. So far (at least from what I have read) it sounds...

99-04 Grand Cherokee (WJ) Lift Recommendations

Toward the end of June I am planning on purchasing a Gen 2 Grand Cherokee (WJ). Since I have been a Toyota guy, I am not too familiar with lift kits for anything Jeep. Does anyone have any recommendations regarding good lift kits for the WJ's? I am wanting to fit 33's under my rig. Also...

Radial tire comparison.... which do you all think is the best

Just curious. Why the sour note on the toyos Response: My reasons may sound stupid to some, but they are my reasons... first, everyone and their mother has these tires. I want something different. two, everyone I know with these tires has had poor wear life on them out of the seven people I...

Radial tire comparison.... which do you all think is the best

I would love to go with the Iroks, but I heard they don't do very well on wet roads when aired up for on-road driving. Also, the pricing on the Iroks is currently turning me away due to a limited budget ($350 and up is a bit extreme for a single tire). So far from what I have read, it appears...

Radial tire comparison.... which do you all think is the best

A while ago I created a post regarding going bias or radial and after reading what everyone said, I believe for what I plan on using my Toyota for that a Radial would better fit what I need. What I am now having difficulty with is making the decision as to which radial I should go with. I am...

Need Help Deciding on tires.... Bias-Ply Vs Radial

Regarding the terrain I plan on traveling, I really want a good all around rig. Something that can handle trails full of mud, snow, rocks, pretty much anything. I want my rig to be good at everything but if thats the case it won't be the best at any one thing. If this was going to be a pure...

Need Help Deciding on tires.... Bias-Ply Vs Radial

I've got an 86 Toyota that will primarily be used as my wheelin rig but will also be used as a "3rd" vehicle. I don't plan on driving on the road all the time, but it will have it's uses for me on road. Once I get the SAS done, I am either going to run 35's, 36's, or 37's depending on the tire...
