They are pretty east to rotate once they have been pulled off, but its tacked in place to match the uncut side.

gotcha, so are you only cutting down the one side then? that way it only needs one custom length shaft?:corn: are you going to rotate them or just leave it at the uncut side angle?

basically, but a torch and a grinder is about $100, a lathe big enough to spin a housing is a little more money.

i was under the impression it had already been cut off the housing and just needed to get the piece out.

all the ones i have done i used a grinder to grind to the crack line as described above. unless the piece could be cut off with the C, then used a lathe for the C cause i had one available and it was faster then grinding. but all in all its the same process. gotta get to the crack line 360 deg then start working the C off.

i wish i could see the pics but photoshop is blocked here at work.

Either way you do it work's just fine, after doing it every way possible and at least 100 housing's later I've found my method to be the quickest and easiest.

It will be a few days :awesomework:

Ive been working on it off and on all weekend. :flipoff:

My attempt at a rear spring hanger stretching the rear out 5". Not as high clearance as I would have liked but its much stronger and has better clearance over the cheasy stock ones I had before.
