Yes, you shouldn't even have to pull the diff cover

Just don't lose those shims between housing and pinion support

Unbolt the pinion nut with the whole axle still under the vehicle.

Have someone stand on the brakes and use a breaker bar to untighten it.

Then, once it's moving freely, you can unbolt the front housing part.

Don't loose the shims too.

Then drop the front housing in a vise.

Pull the nut and yoke out.

Pull the crush sleeve out.

Install the fixed shims and crush sleeve eliminator.

Install pinion and nut.

Install front housing back into the axle using the original shims.

Voila !

Awesome I thought I may have to go inside and release something to be able to pull that all out the front ....thanks guys!

Now if everyone could just do something about the Heat and turn it down to about 60 or 65 that be great.

Be sure to check the pinion nose bearing too. I may have a 1350 yoke. just drill out the threaded holes to use a 1/4" fine thread bol with lock washer an nut an use them straps been working good for me

I just bought a forged yoke from Jake. Mine had a small crack in it on one side.

I just bought a forged platinum yoke from Jake. Mine had a small crack in it on one side.
