1968 Dodge D200 Mega Cab Tow rig *(Possibly for sale)*

Re: 1968 Dodge D200 Tow rig/Daily driver Project

What are you gonna use for sound deadening on this beast? Looking great btw :dblthumb:

Re: 1968 Dodge D200 Tow rig/Daily driver Project

Firewall will have all of the sound deadening from the 2011 truck,
Floor and roof are a different story.... still to be determined
the roof has several voids that will be getting lined with insulation/ heat barrier/ Sound deadening.
havent made up my mind if i am going to put carpet back in the floor or not.

Awesome work! This thing is gonna be ridiculous. Keep up with the pictures.

Keep it up man this thing is going to be sweet. You ate pretty much building what I had been planning to build but the need to build a bigger shop took priority first. Once again awesome.

Havent been able to spend a ton of time on it this past 2 weeks. Still have it setting in the floor getting all the hail dents and dings out of the roof. Trying to do as much body work while it is easily reachable before we put it back on the chassis. Working on round 4 of wiping and flat blocking trying to get it as close as we can to not have to work the roof while standing on ladders.

cab looks awesome ... are you doing anything to the frame before final assembly? Smoothing it, or repainting ?
