1980 toyota truggy build

Looks real good. :D

So of all the mods you listed at the beginning I haven't seen the booster and master go on yet.... You'll be disappointed when you try it... I'm running the large booster on my first gen and if I didn't have an auto there is no way the clutch master would clear. As it is I had to change out the lower shaft from the first gen column to one from a 3rd gen co clear the booster, I still had to put a small dent in the booster so it'd clear the shaft...

One from a t100 will work I'm told. It is a small diameter but longer so it has the same surface area. Might be worth a look.

i got it to fit good. i clear the clutch just fine. what i did was use two plates and a piece of tube to make my adapter. similart to a carb adapter. when i had it all out i measured how much i needed to extend the shaft to compensate for the longer spacer it was like 1 1/2 inches. to do that i used two nuts and a really small piece of tube and welded it all together. then used a bolt that had the same thread pattern so i could thread the u shaped piece on. it all lined up great and i did not have to re bend any of the brake lines or vac lines i didn t take any pictures when i was doing it but i will try to get some to send to you some time. i am horrible about posting pics. i get so wrapped up in building that i forget.

got it running today!!!!! drove it out of the garage, did not flex as well as i thought i think i will stiffen up the rear to make the front work more should do better then. pics to come tomorrow.

turns out i have to work on saturday. so most likely i will be at walker on sunday:cool:

what time and where are ya'll meeting

went out to walker this last weekend. got some work to do before we take it back out. the only complaint i have is that i am in the front bump stops all of the time but we found out that i can give it another 1.5 inches of uptravel so we will see what that does before i go adding leaves. The thing flexes like crazy and will go damn near anywere i point it. had to be easy on it first day out with new gears. giving them some run time before i go BEAT on them at core. we will be going back out on sunday hit me up if you want to come

quote i must have seen 30+ rigs on sunday. but never saw yours?

thats too bad i was there last weekend. we will be going out again this weekend too if you wan to come check it out. i am on cb channel 5 normaly

here are some pics from walker the other weekend

Here are a few playing around

Got this stuck in my bumper/ fender. Could not see it and I could not figure out why it was so damn hard to turn. Until everybody started laughing and pointing.

This one is right after the rock face. The only way I could get through was climb about 4 feet up one side with the front right of the truck and then get it to slide of at the end. Realized my truck can really flex out here wish I got a better pic of it about 5 feet later but you get the idea

After a few mishaps and having to go back down to the truck to fill up a tire on a buddies rig we got to go play in the new area that was just opened last year. Down in NO Newbs. First to pics are the little hill climb to the left of the crack. Got up it last weekend but this weekend it rejected us all.

After getting by feelings hurt here I figured I would give the crack a shot. That was some fun but got denied here too 

At one point I almost rolled over here. My buddy suggested that I take it out of 2xlow before I backed out just in case. Turned out to be a good idea because right about here I had to pop the clutch and power out to keep form rolling.

Last couple of pics is of a buggy that we met up with out here. Met him on NW wheelers. Him and his buddy were some cool guys had a blast.

He got stuck in the same line I did trying to come down, did not go as well for him as it did for me
