For sale, 1987 GMC C6500 4x4. Has 8.2L turbocharged Detroit diesel V8. 5 speed manual trans with pto pump still mounted to it. Has rockwell front axle with locking hubs. 4 wheel drive does work. Has air brakes. Around 13 ft from back of cab to end of frame. I was planning on making it a flat bed dump. Located in New Market, Al. Asking 2600. Combination vehicle over 10,000 pounds. Hook a trailer to it = CDL in Alabama I am pretty sure.

you are correct,even as a flat truck you need air brake endorsement unless you tag as a RV.

Can put a farm tag on it and a 16yr old can drive it as long as you don't cross state line and no interstates

Some body needs to come take the G. M.urder C. home with them and finish blackin it out! Slap a bed on it and make a farm truck out of her or slap some spreader tires back on her and bust some mud with it.

What is the gvwr on it? As long as it's under 26k it does not require cdl in AL
