Everyone sets thier rigs up different. I personally run rears because I have wheel widners and they help me keep my width around 10". I screwed up and meant the fronts make it the widest I keep mixing them up with my other wheels but not all the after market stampede front wheels come with hexes in them some have just a slot for the pins. I have learned that the hard way. Here are what the fronts look like http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJK63&P=7 and at that price you can't beat them. Rit dye can make them any color you wish as well.
Yeah I already have the right dye to match the color I plan on painting my body. I wasn't planning on buying any of the more expensive aftermarket wheels any ways.
I run my mashers on http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXLV90&P=7 but they are so narrow I didn't have to worry about narrowing them. Only issue is there isn't alot of lip to glue to so you have to make sure you glue good.
If you ever screw up you can always boil hot water and soak the tires in it to remove them from the rims. I have done it several times to my moabs and mashers.
