this should be an easy question to answer...i hope. i have a sm465 trans with a 205 case the rails are machined for twin stick but im haveing probs makeing the links betwean the sticks and the rails because the trans and the t -case are so close together. has anyone done this and can you xplane it to my tard azz.

Do you have that huge adapter between the tranny and 205? It should have a big threaded boss off the side of it that the factory shifter pivots on. Ive seen people use 2 factory shifters with a longer bolt and some spacers. (If needed) I know my links are done with some small female hiems with all thread for adjustability. If you go that route I'd come up with some way to support the longer shifter bolt . Just incase the 205 gets pissy and doesnt want to shift. You wont break the adapter trying to shift it.

idk if we are special or what, but i know of 3 rigs including my own with 465- stock 205 and we can get front digs with only one single stock shift stick.

if that is what your shooting for, then id try to find the sweet spot (one click before the shifter is all the way forward) . . If your shooting for looks and performing frontdigs, then by all means go ahead.

yhea i can get front digs but only in low :-\

in my buggy with a divorced 205 my high front only is actually high rear only (rear engine) so I kinda need it.

works fine but pops out every now and again, also the "front" high pops out at high speeds 4wd

not sure if any of this helps you but I just have the normal 205 modified rails and front high only works
