39"s and a 8.8???

I have seen 31 spline 8.8 shafts break with 37's and 6 popper power. same for dana 44s.

I'd wheel it just to see how much of a mess I can make of the axles :haha:


DHR tru tracs are garbage :looser:

This one let go before the shafts did.

It's a 76. Thats the truck I raped for the tires and sold off the motor. Now have sold off the carcuss. But still has some goodies on it.

That's the problem with worm gears. 1 tires spins like 4:1 to the other side. If your really on the throttle and the spinning tire grabs all of a sudden. I bet thats what happens to the carrier. :haha:



I'm going to wheel it until it breaks. Then upgrade. That's the only way I can convince the wife to let me spend my own money. The whole jeep has been built on upgrades from breaking something. But I'll just treat this like I did when I had a Dana 30 and 36"s. :redneck:

Man you have no idea.. This jeep has been built buy wheelin and delaing on parts, making a profit then upgrading. I would say 75% of it has been built like that. Oh stickers help too. :D
